Aim: to improve the effectiveness of comprehensive treatment for patients with vertical malocclusion.

Material and methods. The study included 37 patients with malocclusion (24 women and 13 men) aged 19 to 39 years. Inclusion in the study was determined by malocclusion in the anterior incisor region, incisor-canine region, and incisor-canine and premolar regions. In the posterior regions, the presence of bilateral or unilateral malocclusion (right or left) was assessed. Persin’s classification was used. Clinical, anthropometric, and radiographic examinations, as well as occlusionography, were used.

Results. Reliable results were obtained, confirming improved malocclusion after comprehensive treatment. Treatment effectiveness was confirmed by comparing interalveolar heights before and after comprehensive orthodontic treatment. Individuals undergoing orthodontic treatment with a diagnosis of malocclusion received comprehensive treatment using removable and fixed orthodontic appliances. A new orthodontic mouth guard was used, which corrected the malocclusion and achieved optimal dental occlusion.

Conclusion. The proposed method for treating patients with malocclusion using a proprietary orthodontic appliance will help achieve stable, positive results.

Цель: повышение эффективности комплексного лечения пациентов с вертикальной дизокклюзией.

Материал и методы. В исследовании участвовали 37 человек с дизокклюзией зубных рядов (24 женщины и 13 мужчин) в возрасте от 19 до 39 лет. При включении в исследование учитывали дизокклюзию во фронтальном отделе в области резцов, в области резцов и клыков, в области резцов, клыков, премоляров. В боковых отделах – наличие двусторонней дизокклюзии либо односторонней (справа или слева). Применяли классификацию Л.С. Персина. Использовали клинический, антропометрический, рентгенологический методы обследования пациентов, а также метод окклюзиографии.

Результаты. Получены достоверные результаты, подтверждающие улучшение смыкания зубных рядов после комплексного лечения. Подтверждение эффективности лечения доказано сравнением межальвеолярных высот до начала комплексного ортодонтического лечения и после его окончания. Лица, находящиеся на ортодонтическом лечении с диагнозом «дизокклюзия», получили комплексное лечение с использованием съемных и несъемных ортодонтических аппаратов. Применена новая ортодонтическая каппа, при помощи которой устранена дизокклюзия, достигнуто оптимально выгодное смыкание зубных рядов.

Заключение. Предложенный способ лечения пациентов с дизокклюзией с использованием авторской ортодонтической конструкции поможет добиться стабильных положительных результатов.
