Abstract
In given article the author opens essence of institute of obligatory ecological insurance and feature of its application in a legal field of the Russian Federation. Spent by the author of article interrogation of experts in the field of protection surrounding the person natural the environment has shown that level ecological delicts is high enough. One of positive sides of institute of obligatory ecological insurance is it antycriminal character. In the present article the author pursues the aim to open in as much as possible full volume potential given not enough explored side. Besides it, in article the potential of ecological insurance as basic source of financing is partly opened at a covering of the expenses caused by technogenic failure on manufacture. Given article is intended for experts of criminologists, ecologists, and as wide range of readers.
