Abstract
Traditional medicamentous methods of neonatal jaundice treatment in most cases lack
proof foundation. Application of phototherapy by using monochromatic light is effective,
but this method is sufficiently laborious and possesses side effects. Authors methodology,
protected by patent of RF, provides the usage of polarized non-coherent light in the mode,
void of mentioned shortcomings. Comparative randomized research exposed reliably much
more expressed bilirubin decrease in the group of newborns, who received polarized noncoherent
phototherapy, as well as traditional medicamentous treatment, in comparison
with infants, receiving only remedy treatment.
