Abstract

We investigated the principal role of fibroblastic and smooth muscles cell differones in human and rat uterine cervix. The predominance of smooth muscle differon in a rat and fibroblastic differon in human results from specific differentiation due to the tissue functional features. Smooth muscle tissue is known to have contractile function and be able to perform temporally blocking, but not support function. We reveal the connective tissue predominance in human cervix results from the necessity to retain the fetus in uterine cavity during pregnancy in two-leg uprightness in evolution.

Abstract

The article studies the nutritional status of children (n = 1014) and able-bodied adult (n = 827) population of the Samara region. The results of research and evaluation of anthropometric indicators of children are presented. The proportion of children with disharmonic physical development due to excess or lack of body weight was revealed. BIA indicators analysis as well as the data of physical development revealed the children who have excess body weight due to high values of skeletal muscle mass. Body composition analysis of the able-bodied population showed that fat mass prevails in women while skeletal muscle mass in men. The analysis of fat mass content in the group of ablebodied population with excess nutritional status (BMI more than 25 kg/m2) revealed both men and women who had a high proportion of skeletal muscle mass, which determined their excess body weight in terms of BMI. The results of the study prove bioimpedance analysis to be an informative method of the nutritional status analysis.

Abstract

One of the most widespread oncological diseases in men is the prostate cancer (PC). PC takes the second place in the world among oncological diseases and the sixth cause of mortality in men induced by oncopathology. The purpose of the research is to improve surgical treatment of a prostate gland cancer. “The gold standard” of surgical treatment of PC is radical prostatectomy which is one of the most difficult operations in Oncology. It is caused by intricate topographo-anatomic relations. Materials and methods of a research. 80 patients who had undergone surgical treatment of prostate cancer were chosen by continuous sampling method within the years of 2014-2016. The retrospective analysis of major risk factors of intra- and post-operative complications has been carried out. Bleeding in the excision site, injury of the neck of the urinary bladder, injury of the rectum are the commonest intra-operative complications The postoperative period is often complicated by urinary tract inflammation, lymphorrhea, lymphocele, urine incontinence, erectile dysfunction. Improvement in quality of life is the most important task of any treatment modality, thus prognosis and development of preventive measures in case of radical prostatectomy is topical. Results. We have performed optimization of the surgical technique for prostate cancer. All patients have been divided into the main and control groups. In the main group we used the complex method of prevention of complications by means of fibrin glue. The offered method of prevention of a lymphorrhea after a radical prostatectomy allows to reduce incidence of postoperative complications, development of lymphocele, diminish the time of lymphorrhea up to 1-3 days as well as postoperative rehabilitation, and to promote early activation of patients.

THE VARIETY OF VESTIBULAR POSITIONS OF PERMANENT CANINES OF THE UPPER JAW IN PATIENTS WITH MESIAL OCCLUSION

Ulianova L.G.

Abstract

Deficiency of the place in the dentition causes changes in the position of the individual teeth on the upper and the lower jaws. Reducing of the size of the upper jaw sagittally and transversally leads to a lack of space for individual teeth, often canines. Their place in the dentition is variable. Macrognathy of the lower jaw and micrognathia of the upper jaw are the most frequent causes of mesial occlusion. 32 patients with mesial occlusion were examined and vestibular position of canines of the maxilla was revealed. The age of the patients ranged between 12 and 36 years, there were 15 male and 17 female patients.

Osikov M.V., Simonyan E.V., Bakeeva A.E., Boyko M.S., Bivalkevich V.A.

Abstract

Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) - Crohn’s disease (CD) and ulcerative colitis (UC) are chronic diseases with an unknown etiology and pathogenesis. The medical treatment of such pathologies causes lots of adverse effects and usually doesn’t lead to the persistent remission. Studying of an etiology and pathogenesis, improvement of methods of treatment of IBD dictates need of adequate experimental modeling of UC and CD. The purpose of the article is to make an analysis of the literature, indexed in Pubmed, Medline, Russian Science Citation Index, dedicated to the IBD modeling and perspective ways of homeostasis correction during such pathologies as CD and UC. The oxazo-lone injection was determined as the most optimal way of UC modeling and the injection of trinitrobenzensulfonic acid (TNBS) for CD modeling. Economical and clinical benefits of oxazolone and TNBS usage, the results of clinical and preclinical studies and adverse events of Aloe vera, Boswellia serrata, Trigonella foenum-graecum, Andrographis paniculata, omega 3 fatty acids, Ulmus fulva, Potentilla erecta, liquorice, coenzyme Q10, vitamin B12, Cucruma longa and vitamin D are described in the analyzed literature. The critical literature analysis gives us an ability to distinguish vitamin D and Cucruma longa as perspective therapeutic agents for the development of the pharmaceuticals with anti-inflammatory, immunomodulatory and composite antioxidant effects, for UC and CDs’ treatment, causing the minimum of adverse effects. Suppositories were determined as the most optimal and perspective dosage form, used for the IBD treatment, according to the best biofarmaceutical features among the other forms.
